In the old times a business card was consider as a professional presentation tool, however today we are not living the same standards. Not having a business card at least is still considering something not professional however today having a book as a subject expert is more appeal.

Be in business today is more than just sale or provide services. People want to connect and know more about who is providing their services. This is part of the high manipulation coming from the Social Media. 

Business people is now more and more pressure to join those media or at least to be aware of what is going on there about you. You may thing you don't care about social media ~wrong thought. Reviews and media comments can easily bring your business up to the top or down to the floor in a short period of time.

Business people need to engage more with their audience. Think about your position in the market place and where you want to be in the near future. Get a marketing strategy in place. You don't need to know everything. Accept your limitations and invest your money in professionals to cover your needs.
